What many Silverton, OH property owners and first-time builders don't realize is that the cost of retrofitting termite protection into an already-completed structure is many times greater than treating the soil correctly before the slab is placed. Once concrete is poured and walls are raised, termiticide must be injected through drilled holes, trenches must be dug along the foundation, or expensive bait monitoring systems must be installed. None of these options are as effective or as affordable as a proper pre-slab soil treatment and none of them are eligible to serve as the primary code-compliant treatment in most Silverton, OH building jurisdictions.
Be-Ding Field's pre-construction termite program in Silverton, OH also includes a post-treatment walk-through with the property owner or site supervisor. During this briefing, our technician explains which areas were treated, what product was applied, how the barrier works, and what signs to watch for in the years following construction. We believe an informed client is a better-protected client, and this education component is included at no additional charge for every Silverton, OH pre-construction job we complete.
For properties in Silverton, OH that sit adjacent to wooded areas, creek beds, or established tree lines, the termite pressure on new construction is especially elevated. Termite colonies in these environments are often large and actively foraging year-round. In these higher-risk scenarios, Be-Ding Field recommends a reinforced treatment protocol that includes additional product concentration along the perimeter and at all soil-to-wood contact points. Our team will assess your Silverton, OH site conditions during the pre-treatment consultation and recommend the appropriate level of protection before any product is ever applied.
