About Our Pre-Construction Termite Treatment Service in Somerville, TX
Pre-construction termite treatment is one of the most cost-effective investments a Somerville, TX builder, developer, or homeowner can make. Applied before a concrete slab is poured, pre-construction termiticide creates a continuous chemical barrier between the soil and your new structure that dramatically reduces termite access for years to come. Be-Ding Field Pest Control has partnered with builders and developers across Somerville, TX for over 15 years to provide compliant, effective pre-construction treatments on time so construction schedules are never delayed.
Our pre-construction termite treatment process in Somerville, TX follows all applicable state and local building code requirements. We treat the soil under and around the slab perimeter, footer trenches, and around any penetrations plumbing, conduit, and expansion joints that could provide termite access after construction. Documentation of treatment is provided for permit and inspection purposes.
For Somerville, TX commercial developments, multi-family projects, and large residential builds, we coordinate closely with your general contractor and project timeline. Our Somerville, TX pre-construction termite treatments are designed to integrate seamlessly with construction schedules, and our technicians are experienced working on active job sites safely and efficiently.
What many Somerville, TX property owners and first-time builders don't realize is that the cost of retrofitting termite protection into an already-completed structure is many times greater than treating the soil correctly before the slab is placed. Once concrete is poured and walls are raised, termiticide must be injected through drilled holes, trenches must be dug along the foundation, or expensive bait monitoring systems must be installed. None of these options are as effective or as affordable as a proper pre-slab soil treatment and none of them are eligible to serve as the primary code-compliant treatment in most Somerville, TX building jurisdictions.
Be-Ding Field's pre-construction termite program in Somerville, TX also includes a post-treatment walk-through with the property owner or site supervisor. During this briefing, our technician explains which areas were treated, what product was applied, how the barrier works, and what signs to watch for in the years following construction. We believe an informed client is a better-protected client, and this education component is included at no additional charge for every Somerville, TX pre-construction job we complete.
For properties in Somerville, TX that sit adjacent to wooded areas, creek beds, or established tree lines, the termite pressure on new construction is especially elevated. Termite colonies in these environments are often large and actively foraging year-round. In these higher-risk scenarios, Be-Ding Field recommends a reinforced treatment protocol that includes additional product concentration along the perimeter and at all soil-to-wood contact points. Our team will assess your Somerville, TX site conditions during the pre-treatment consultation and recommend the appropriate level of protection before any product is ever applied.
